To develop a school with a strong Welsh ethos where pupils are proud to use the Welsh language.
To encourage and strive for 100% attendance.

Our mission statement is ‘Reach For The Stars’. Our core values are respect, wellbeing and independence. We are proud to be a community school and strive for everyone to be successful. We have an open door policy, where there is always someone that is available to speak to. We work in partnership with all pupils, parents, numerous agencies and the community.

Safeguarding is part of our core business where we all promote the welfare of our pupils. We are a restorative practice school where we have a strong emphasis on pupil voice, and participation. Inclusion is at the heart of all that we do. We encourage a positive ‘growth’ mindset where we can all learn, improve and achieve with effort and determination.

Bryn Teg Community School is a fantastic learning environment. The building is modern, and we are very well resourced. We have inspired and passionate teachers who provide challenge and high expectations. We promote pupil independence where we encourage learners to set their own goals, aspire to challenge and self assess. The staff are hard working and committed to get the best from every pupil so that they each reach their potential. We are proud of our pupils and all that they achieve.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
